CORTLAND, N.Y. --- The Moravian University women's outdoor track & field squad scored 19 points including 15 on Saturday to finish tied for 18th of 43 schools scoring points at the 2024 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships at SUNY Cortland that finished on Thursday.
Moravian Event Champion
- Senior Lexi Groff captured first in the high jump at a height of 1.66 meters (5-5.25) as Groff won a tiebreaker with fewer attempts at lower heights to take first. Groff earned ten points for her victory
Moravian Scoring Finishers
- The Hounds' 4x800-meter relay team of juniors Rylie Murphy and Lexi Rushatz and sophomores Elena Bocchetti and Tara Smurla finished fifth in a time of 9:41.01 to score five points
Moravian Competitors
- Junior Caillie Fishplaced 11th in the discus with a distance of 38.84 meters (127-5)
- Sophomore Ali Haefele was 14th in the triple jump with a mark of 10.93 meters (35-10.5)
- Junior Abby Giamoni finished 14th in the 400-meter dash in a time of 57.88 seconds
- Giamoni was also 17th in the 200-meter dash in 26.33 seconds
