Greyhounds Compete at Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University

PRINCETON, N.J. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team sent a contingent of runners to the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton University Saturday.

The Greyhounds' 4x100-meter relay squad of seniors Austin Gardener and Cory Taggert, junior Eric Morton and freshman Billy DiLolle finished sixth in an ECAC qualifying time of 42.41 seconds. Morton ran a time of 11.13 seconds in the 100-meter dash while DiLolle ran 11.17 seconds. Taggert added a time of 50.81 seconds in the 400-meter dash while Gardener ran 22.78 seconds in the 200-meter dash.

Sophomore John Spirk had an ECAC qualifying time of 15.07 seconds to place 12th in preliminaries of the 110-meter high hurdles, and he ran another ECAC qualifying time of 55.57 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles. 

Moravian is scheduled to return to action at the Penn Relays as well as the Lehigh University Games during the next week.
