Greyhound Men Post Four ECAC Qualifiers at Swarthmore Last Chance Qualifier

SWARTHMORE, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team recorded four ECAC qualifying performances in the Swarthmore College Last Chance Qualifier Monday as the Hounds prepare for the 2017 ECAC and NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in the next 12 days.

The 4x100-meter relay of junior Eric Morton, freshman Billy DiLolle and seniors Austin Gardener and Matt Barnett finishing sixth in an ECAC qualifying time of 42.92 seconds. DiLolle and Morton also ran ECAC qualifying times in the 100-meter dash with DiLolle finishing 14th in 11.09 seconds and Morton a spot back in 11.11 seconds. Freshman Greg Jaindl ran an ECAC qualifying time of 9:48.47 while placing 27th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

Gardener was 21st in the 200-meter dash in 22.61 seconds while junior Andrew Mitchell finished 36th in the 800-meter run in 1:56.79 and sophomore Devon Harris placed 46th in the race in 1:59.16.

Senior Kahron Walker finished 19th in the long jump with a leap of 6.17 meters (20-3) while sophomore Brian Stock was 23rd in the long jump at 6.04 meters (19-9.75).

Moravian is slated to return to action on Wednesday, May 17 in the first day of action at the 2017 ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Westfield State (Mass.) University.
