BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey squad dropped a hard-fought 2-1 decision to Albright College in non-conference action under the lights on John Makuvek Field Saturday evening.

The Greyhounds and Lions played a scoreless first 30 minutes but Albright broke through just 1:21 into the third quarter with a goal. Moravian answered four minutes later when freshman forward Madison Scott knocked in a crossing pass from freshman midfielder Emily Wells for Scott's second goal of the season.

The Lions netted what would be the game-winning tally just 50 seconds into the fourth period. The Blue and Grey had a penalty corner with just over a minute to go but could not find the equalizer.

Moravian junior goalie Ashley Kunsman registered five saves in the match.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, September 18 in a non-conference match at Wilkes University beginning at 7:00 p.m.
