TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College freshman forward Maddie Call has been selected as the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Call scored the final two goals in the Greyhounds' 3-2, double-overtime rally win at Goucher College to close out the season last Saturday. She netted the equalizer with just 1:13 left in the fourth quarter, and Call put in the game-winner 4:38 into the second overtime. The tally was her fifth goal of the season and second game-winner with all five goals coming in the last three matches after returning from an early season injury.

"Maddie has stepped up the second half of the season after coming back from an injury," commented Head Coach Kristen Powers. "She has been leading our offense and her confidence as a freshman is amazing. Her hard work and determination have paid off for herself and the team."

Call is one of 13 players that should return for the Greyhounds in 2020.
