TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian College field hockey team rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to post a 3-2 double-overtime victory at Goucher College in Landmark Conference action Saturday to complete the 2019 season.

The Gophers scored just 1:37 into the match for a quick 1-0 lead, and Goucher added another goal in the second quarter for a 2-0 edge at the intermission.

Sophomore forward Ava Edwards scored her fourth goal of the season in the 41st minute to cut the deficit to 2-1. Freshman forward Maddie Call  netted her fourth goal of the season with just 1:13 remaining in the fourth quarter to tie the contest and force overtime. Call would score again midway through the second overtime for her second game-winning goal of the season.

Moravian junior goalie Ashley Kunsman made two saves in the victory as the Greyhounds improved the program's season win total for the third straight year.

"Today the team showed heart and passion and a full team effort," commented Head Coach Kristen Powers. "To come back from down two goals and win in overtime on the road takes an extreme amount of focus and intensity. They left it all out of the field and our senior class finished off their career with a phenomenal game and win."
