Moravian Drops Hard-Fought Landmark Conference Opener at Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey squad opened its 2019 Landmark Conference season with a hard-fought, 1-0 setback at Juniata College Saturday.

The Eagles scored the only goal of the contest midway through the third quarter to earn the victory.

Moravian junior goalie Ashley Kunsman recorded nine saves in the match.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Tuesday, October 1 when the squad hosts rival Muhlenberg College in a non-conference contest beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
