BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College field hockey team fell to visiting Elizabethtown College, 2-0, in Landmark Conference action on a rainy John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening.

The squads played a scoreless first half, and the Blue Jays would break onto the scoreboard in the 39th minute to lead 1-0 after 45 minutes of action. Elizabethtown scored in the 53rd minute to double the advantage while freshman midfielder Emily Wells fired a shot on goal in the 56th minute for the Hounds best opportunity in the match as she tried to get a shot inside the left post.

Junior goalie Ashley Kunsman had seven saves for the Blue and Grey.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, October 19 in a Landmark Conference action at Drew University beginning at 1:00 p.m.
