Greyhounds Post a Pair of PR Results at Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. --- The Moravian University men's track & field team posted a pair of personal best results at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational Saturday.

Moravian Results

  • Senior Shane Houghton opened the day with a new PR and All-Atlantic Region qualifying time of 14:40.55 in the 5,000-meter run. Houghton's time is the second fastest in program history and took 47 seconds off his previous indoor best at the distance, and he also finished 18th of 94 runners in the meet
  • Sophomore Trevor Gray took 15th of 26 runners in the 60-meter dash Invitational preliminaries in an AARTFC qualifying time of 7.00 seconds
  • Gray also recorded a PR and AARTFC qualifying time of 22.41 seconds in the 200-meter dash to finish second in his heat
  • Graduate student Tim King has a toss of 15.90 meters (52-2) in the 35-pound weight throw
  • Houghton posted a time of 4:25.37 in the mile run while sophomore Jake Farrell had a time of 4:34.58 in the race
