Greyhounds Post Seven PRs at Penn State Tune-Up

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's track & field team posted a pair of All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks and seven personal bests Friday at the Penn State University Tune-Up in the final competition before the Landmark Conference Championships.

Top 10 Results

  • Sophomore Trevor Gray took fourth in the finals of the 60-meter dash in an All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Conference qualifying time of 7.01 seconds after running 6.98 seconds, the third fastest times in the preliminaries
  • Senior Shane Houghton finished eighth in the 3,000-meter run in an AARTFC time of 8:46.53
  • The Greyhounds 4x400-meter relay squad of junior Brendon Ward and sophomores Jason Gartner and Geoffrey Kleinberg and freshman Josh Swain placed sixth in a time of 3:40.25

Moravian PRs

  • Freshman Bryan Kerchner had a PR time of 4:30.73 in the mile run while freshman Joe Allegro recorded a PR time of 4:37.91 and senior Christian Jancsarics added a PR time of 4:42.79 in the race
  • Ward posted a PR time of 2:00.99 in the 800-meter run while sophomore Wyatt Poniktera added an indoor PR time of 2:08.75
  • Sophomore Owen Sabastro ran an indoor PR of 23.60 seconds in the 200-meter dash while freshman Jacob Fenstermaker had a PR of 23.84 seconds in the event
