Greyhounds Hit Three AARTFC Marks at Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's track & field squad hit a trio of All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks at the Bucknell University Bison Outdoor Classic Saturday.

Moravian Finishers

  • Sophomore Nathan Hajel ran an AARTFC qualifying time of 31:29.66 in the 10,000-meter run, the fourth fastest overall time in program history and second fastest individual behind Dillon Farrell '15, who has the top three times in school history
  • Graduate student Tim King recorded an AARTFC qualifying distance of 41.00 meters (134-6) in the discus while senior Adam Gildea had a toss of 40.95 meters (134-4), missing the AARTFC mark by two inches
  • Freshman Bryan Kerchner ran a time of 4:09.72 in the 1,500 meters while sophomore Jake Farrell had a time of 4:11.06
  • Senior Shane Houghton recorded a time of 10:06.23 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase
