TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University graduate student Tim King has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.

King, who earned his second Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week honor of the season, placed ninth in a pair of events at the Princeton University Indoor Invitational Sunday. He was ninth in the 35-pound weight throw with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying toss of 15.81 meters (51-10.5), and King then finished ninth in the shot put with an AARTFC qualifying toss of 13.90 meters (45-7.25).

"Tim had another consistent meet on Sunday," noted throwing coach Jon D'Ottavio. "These past few weeks have been good tests for him as he's gone against top competition while we've still been pretty heavy with reps in practice. Overall, it was a great tune-up for Landmarks this upcoming Saturday and he's in great shape to produce some really big throws. I'm excited to see what he can do!"

The Greyhounds will compete in the 2023 Landmark Conference Indoor Championships hosted by Susquehanna University on Saturday, February 25 with action beginning at 11:00 a.m.
