Greyhounds Post 13 PRs & One School Record at Fastrack National Invitational

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. --- The Moravian College men's track & field team posted 13 individual personal best results and one school record in the non-scoring Fastrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Park & Athletic Complex Friday.

Junior Greg Jaindl set a school record in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:33.92 in the invite race where he placed 18th overall while senior Devon Harris finished ninth in the mile invite race in a PR of 4:20.53. Senior John Spirk placed 12th in the 400-meter dash with a PR time of 50.52 seconds, and he also finished 13th in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.46 seconds.

Sophomore Sean McFarland ran a PR of 23.30 seconds in the 200-meter dash while freshman Taylor Porter McPherson had a PR of 23.40 seconds in the race, and Porter McPherson also had a PR of 52.09 seconds in the 400-meter dash. Junior Evan Lutz posted a PR of 53.10 seconds in the 400-meters.

Junior Justin Beasley-Turner posted a PR of 1:56.37 in the invite race of the 800-meter run while senior Aaron Hofmann ran a PR of 2.00.91 in the college 800-meter run and freshman Brad Clemson had a PR in the race of 2.03.47. Freshman Dominic DeRafelo posted a PR in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:59.84 while junior Gavin Kemery also hit a PR in the race at 9:11.60.

Freshman Max Schuman finished with a PR of 4.25 meters (13-11.25) in the pole vault while senior Brian Stock jumped to a 19th place finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.33 meters (20-9.25). Sophomore Shane Mastro placed 15th in the shot put invite with a toss of 13.91 meters (45-7.75) while senior Jon Anthony was 12th in the weight throw with a toss of 15.00 meters (49-2.5) and junior Ryan Harper took 17th in the event at 14.33 meters (47-0.25).

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Friday, February 15 in the Kutztown University Last Chance Qualifier.
