Glass & Brockett Hit ECAC Marks at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. --- The Moravian College women's track & field squad sent four competitors to the non-scoring Princeton University Invitational Sunday, and the group combined for a pair of ECAC qualifying marks and two top 10 in school history results.

Senior Corinne Glass took fourth in the 200-meter dash in a personal best and ECAC qualifying time of 25.89 seconds. The mark is the fourth fastest time in school history, and Glass's time is ranked 27th on the Track & Field Results Reporting System for NCAA Division III, and the top 18 females in each event will compete at the NCAA Division III National Championships in March. Glass's mark is also a Landmark Conference record on a non-banked track.

Junior Meg Brockett finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run with an ECAC qualifying and personal best time of 10:12.20. Brockett's time is third on Moravian's all-time list and 33rd on the TFRRS list.

Junior Sarah Hughes placed 11th in the mile run with a time of 5:20.41 while sophomore Melissa Cheong finished eighth in the high jump at 1.55 meters (5-1).

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, February 27 when the teams head to Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove for the 2016 Landmark Conference Indoor Championships. The Greyhounds are looking for their ninth straight title.
