Brockett Runs PR in 5K at Tufts Final Qualifying Meet

BOSTON, Mass. --- Junior Meg Brockett ran a personal best in the 5,000-meter run at the Tufts University Final Qualifying Meet Friday evening.

Brockett took third in the race with a time of 17:25.67, which is the second fastest time in school history. The time also placed her into 12th on the Track & Field Results Reporting System list. The top 18 female competitors in each event will qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships next weekend.

The NCAA qualifiers will be announced late on Sunday.
