BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College field hockey team has named seniors Stephanie Pezzello and Tori Poliskiewicz as its captains for the 2012 campaign.

Pezzello enters her fourth season with the Greyhounds. She has played in 51 out of the 53 games during that stretch while posting 14 defensive saves with a high of six in 2009 and 2010. Pezzello was named to the 2010 Landmark All-Conference Second Team. In June 2011, she donated bone marrow to an 11-year old cancer patient after registering in the Greyhound football program annual Be The Match Bone Marrow Registration Drive.

Poliskiewicz enters her second season with the Greyhounds. Last fall, she played in all 17 games while leading the squad with seven assists to go with her four goals (two game-winning goals).

Moravian kicks off its season on Saturday, September 1st as they travel to DeSales University. The game is scheduled for 12 p.m.
