Two Field Hockey Players are Ranked in the First NCAA Stats

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two student-athletes of the Moravian College field hockey team are ranked in the first release of weekly NCAA Division III Statistics.

Junior midfielder Chelsea Grotyohann is tied for sixth in the nation with 1.33 assists per game. Sophomore midfielder Catherine Duffin is tied for 12th with 1.00 assists per game. Grotyohann has four assists to go with two goals while Duffin has three assists.

As a team, the Greyhounds are tied for second in the country with 4.33 assists per game, tied for 11th with 12.33 points per game, tied for 23rd with 4.00 goals per game, tied for 24th in scoring average at 4.00, tied for 33rd in scoring margin with a +2.00, tied for 37th with 11.33 penalty corners per game and tied for 43rd with a .667 winning percentage.

Moravian returns to action tonight, September 11th as they travel to FDU-Florham. The match is scheduled for 7 p.m.
