TOWSON, Md. – Senior defender Stephanie Pezzello (Holmdel, N.J./St. John Vianney) of the Moravian College field hockey team was named Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the week of September 17th.
In two games last week, Pezzello came up with four defensive saves. On the season, Pezzello has four defensive saves, and has helped the Greyhounds achieve a 1.80 goals against average in five contests.
Moravian is in action on Tuesday, September 18th as they host Ramapo College of New Jersey in a non-conference match. The game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Betty Prince Field.
