BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer squad used a second half goal to tie the score and eventually played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw versus Ramapo College of New Jersey in non-conference action on John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon.

The Roadrunners, who had their third tie of the season, scored just over three minutes into the second half on a header off of a corner kick to take a 1-0 lead.

The Greyhounds, now 4-1-1, responded 25 minutes later when sophomore midfielder Anthony Nagy converted on his third penalty kick of the season and his fifth overall goal to knot the score at 1-1 in the 72nd minute. Nagy had four game-winning goals heading into the contest.

Ramapo would get the only shot on goal in the first overtime session while Nagy had two shots on goal in the second overtime and freshman midfielder Carson Snyder  had one shot on goal with just under three minutes to play.

Moravian junior goalie Michael Bone registered two saves in the match.

"It was an exciting game at the Mak today," stated Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "A very good Ramapo team took a 1 to 0 lead early in the second half, but we gained some momentum after Mike Bone made a great save to keep us in it. Carson Snyder was taken down for a penalty kick that Anthony Nagy converted. We had several chances to win it in overtime but the Ramapo keeper was up for the challenge and made a great save to keep the game tied. We appreciate the great crowd that came to the game today."

The Greyhounds are slated to return to the pitch on Wednesday, September 18 in a non-conference contest at Bryn Athyn College beginning at 7:00 p.m.
