SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2019 Landmark Conference season, falling to host The University of Scranton, 2-0, Saturday afternoon.

The Royals would jump onto the scoreboard in the ninth minute, and Scranton added a tally in the 32nd minute to lead 2-0 at the intermission. The Blue and Grey put five shots on goal during the second half with one each from sophomore midfielder Quinn Middleton and Anthony Nagy, sophomore forward Andrew Goodolf, junior forward Ethan Blakely and freshman midfielder Kyle Dixon.

Moravian junior goalie Michael Bone recorded five saves in the contest.

The Greyhounds are slated to return to action on Saturday, October 19 when the squad hosts Drew University in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
