Hounds Fall to No. 21 Catholic But Still Earn Postseason Berth

WASHINGTON, D.C. --- The Moravian College men's soccer team fell to No. 21 The Catholic University of America, 6-0, in Landmark Conference action Saturday; however, with other results around the conference, the Greyhounds still earned a berth in the Landmark Conference Semifinals to begin on November 5.

The Cardinals scored three times in each half including jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first 11 minutes of the match.

Junior goalie Michael Bone made two saves for the Blue and Grey while sophomore keeper Mason LeSage made five stops in 28 minutes of action and senior goalie Yamil Yunez had two save in 17 minutes during the second half.

Moravian is slated to return to action on Wednesday, October 30 when the squad hosts DeSales University in a non-conference match beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field as the Greyhounds celebrate Senior Day.
