BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's volleyball squad fell to No. 1 Juniata College, 3-0, in Landmark Conference action in Johnston Hall Friday evening.
How It Happened
- The opening set went back-and-forth early with the Greyhounds holding an 8-7 lead. Juniata took control with four straight points and nine of the next ten points for build a 16-10 edge. The Eagles eventually won the set 25-19
- Juniata began the second set with four consecutive points and earned a 25-12 set victory for a 2-0 edge
- The Eagles raced out to an 18-1 lead in the third set, and posted a 25-8 win to finish of the match
Inside the Numbers
- Sophomore middle blocker Payton Reuber led the Hounds with four kills to go with a pair of blocks while senior outside hitter Jenna Deegan added three kills and a pair of digs
- Sophomore outside hitter Gabbie Reigner and senior opposite hitter Makenzie Krasley both had three kills as well with Krasley posting two blocks while freshman middle blocker Kate McBrierty added a pair of digs
- Junior setter Ally Plitnick recorded 11 assists and three digs for the Blue & Grey while sophomore libero Sam Love registered nine digs and three assists
- Sophomore setter/defensive specialist Molly Hughes posted six digs while sophomore defensive specialist Morgan Hughes added three digs
