MIDDLETOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's volleyball squad had its seven-match winning streak come to an end in a 3-0 loss at Penn State Harrisburg Tuesday evening. 

How It Happened

  • The Lions captured the opening set 25-19
  • The Blue & Grey had an early 8-2 edge in the second set, and the Hounds led 20-12 before Penn State Harrisburg rallied for a 27-25 set victory
  • The Lions won a back-and-forth third set by a 25-18 score

Inside the Numbers

  • Senior outside hitter Jenna Deegan led Moravian with ten kills, three digs and a pair of blocks while sophomore outside hitter Gabbie Reigner added seven kills, eight digs and two blocks
  • Sophomore middle blocker Payton Reuber registered six kills and two blocks while senior opposite hitter Makenzie Krasley posted five kills and a pair of blocks and freshman middle blocker Kate McBrierty had two kills
  • Junior setter Ally Plitnick recorded 20 assists and 14 digs for the Greyhounds while sophomore libero Sam Love had 12 digs
  • Sophomore defensive specialist Molly Hughes contributed nine assists and four digs while sophomore defensive specialist Morgan Hughes had five digs and freshman defensive specialist Madalyn Kocsis added four digs
