Suelke Has a Pair of Top 10 Finishes at Princeton Tiger Open

PRINCETON, N.J. --- Freshman Lauren Suelke turned in a pair of top 10 finishes to lead the Moravian College women's indoor track & field team at the non-scoring Princeton University Tiger Open Saturday.

Suelke was fifth in the triple jump with a leap of 10.61 meters (34 feet, 9 3/4 inches) on her second of six attempts, and she placed seventh in the long jump with an ECAC qualifying mark of 5.18 meters (17 feet) on her last jump in the finals.

Junior Jenny Kratch placed eighth in the 20-pound weight throw with a toss of 12.64 meters (41 feet, 5 3/4 inches) on her first throw of the meet.

On the track, junior Emily Lambright finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 10:48.40 while junior Claire Del Casale was fifth in 10:51.58 and freshman Meg Brockett took eighth place in 11:01.36.

Junior Brianna Wright tied for 10th in the 60-meter dash in 8.16 seconds to lead the Greyhounds' sprinters.

Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, February 1 at the John Covert Classic hosted by Lehigh University.
