BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's track & field team competed at the Lehigh University Games Saturday in the final tune-up before the 2015 Landmark Conference Championships.

Sophomore Kiara Bright posted an ECAC qualifying mark of 11.02 meters (36-2) while placing second in the triple jump. Freshman Carly Thorpe was sixth in the triple jump at 9.91 meters (32-6.25) while sophomore Lauren Suelke was ninth at 9.73 meters (31-11.25) and senior Giana Vecchio took tenth at 9.53 meters (31-3.25).

Freshman Melissa Cheong placed fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.55 meters (5-1), and she was tenth in the long jump at 4.86 meters (15-11.5) while junior Christelle Reglas was fifth in the long jump at 5.02 meters (16-5.75) and Suelke placed eighth with a leap of 4.94 meters (16-2.5).

Freshman Ciara Stewart was third in the shot put with an ECAC qualifying toss of 11.94 meters (39-2.25) while junior Abby Clark took sixth at 11.03 meters (36-2.25) and freshman Trista Cunningham was tenth at 10.11 meters (33-2). Cunningham also placed sixth in the discus at 37.46 meters (122-11), missing the ECAC qualifying mark by four centimeters, and Stewart placed seventh at 36.33 meters (119-3) and sophomore Jackie Finnegan took ninth at 32.60 meters.

Freshman Mary Kate Duncan was tied for third in the javelin with an ECAC qualifying mark of 39.56 meters (129-10) on Friday while senior Jenny Kratch took fourth in the hammer throw on Friday at 42.77 meters (140-4) and Finnegan was ninth at 38.55 meters (126-10).

Senior Dana Fineman was seventh in the pole vault at a height of 3.05 meters (10-0) while freshman Beth Ann Davies took tenth at 2.75 meters (9-0.25).

Senior Brielle Sutter finished second in the 200-meter dash in 26.35 seconds while sophomore Lauren White was sixth in the 100-meter dash in 12.95 seconds.

The Hounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3 at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove.
