Track & Field Teams Ranked Regionally by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, LA --- The Moravian College men's & women's track & field teams are both ranked in the Mideast Region in the third NCAA Division III Regional Team Index of the 2015 indoor season released by the U S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Tuesday. The Greyhound women moved up one spot to third in the region while men are is seventh place in the rankings.

The Greyhound women, who were fourth in the first two polls of the year, have a total of 176.99 points. Johns Hopkins University is currently first in the Mideast Region with 415.37 points while Misericordia University is second at 251.30 points.

The Greyhound men have a total of 210.48 points, slipping one spot from sixth in the first two polls of the indoor season. Widener University leads the Mideast Region with 359.09 points while Salisbury University is second at 324.75 points. Johns Hopkins holds down the third spot with 200.07 points while Haverford College is fourth at 189.19 points, Wesley College is fifth with 140.30 points and Messiah College is in sixth with 126.54 points.

Moravian will return to action on Saturday, February 14 when the Greyhounds travel to the Susquehanna University Invitational in Selinsgrove.
