BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Freshman Jake Haberstumpf of the Moravian University men's golf squad has been selected as this week's Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.
Haberstumpf earned two more medalist honors last week while Moravian finished third at both the Muhlenberg Invitational and The Melee at Riverview. Haberstumpf averaged 71.3 strokes per round, and his 214 total was an even par for the week. Haberstumpf won the Muhlenberg Invitational on a tiebreaker with an even par 72 that included three birdies and 10 pars. He then had an opening round 73 and a two-under 69 for a 142 to win The Melee by a stroke. Haberstumpf carded an eagle, eight birdies and 19 pars in the 36 holes.
The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
