LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Senior catcher Brooke Wehr of the Moravian University softball program has been selected to the 2022 Schutt Sports/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III National Player and Pitcher of the Year Top 50 List announced by the NFCA this past week.

The Player of the Year award was established in 2016 to honor the season's top performer in NCAA Division III and was expanded in 2019 to include both a Player and Pitcher of the Year honoree.

Wehr was named to the 2021 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America Softball First Team, to the NFCA Division III All-America Third Team and the 2021 Landmark Conference Player of the Year. She was selected to the Landmark All-Conference First Team for the third time, twice as a catcher in 2021 and 2019 and as an outfielder in 2018. Wehr is a three-time NFCA All-Atlantic Region honoree, earning a spot on the Second Team in 2021 and being named to the Third Team in 2018 and 2019.
