Silberman Garners Second Straight Landmark Conference Softball Player of the Week Honor

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University sophomore designated player Emily Silberman has garnered her second straight Landmark Conference Softball Player of the Week honor for her performance last week.

Silberman went 5-for-6 at the plate in the Greyhounds Landmark Conference sweep at Drew University. She added a homer, three RBIs, a run and a walk for an .857 on-base percentage and a 1.500 slugging percentage.

"Emily continues to see the ball well, and she is consistently hits to all fields with power," noted Head Coach John Byrne.

The Greyhounds, who are 20-2 on the season, are scheduled to return to action on Thursday, April 21 when the squad hosts rival Muhlenberg College in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Blue & Grey Field.
