Greyhounds Garner Votes in USA Today Sports/WBCA Top 25 Poll

LILBURN, Ga. ---The Moravian College women's basketball team has received votes this week in the third USA Today Sports/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll of the 2012-13 season released Tuesday.

The Greyhounds, who are 6-0, received three points and are tied for fourth of 12 teams receiving votes outside of the top 25. Moravian is one of four teams from the Landmark Conference receiving national recognition with the University of Scranton and The Catholic University of America being tied for 24th with 16 points and Juniata College receiving two points.

The USA Today Sports/WBCA poll is voted on by a committee of eight Division III coaches, one from each region of the country. To view the full poll, visit http://www.wbca.org/blog/index.cfm/2012/12/4/20122013-Week-3-DIII-Poll/.

Moravian will return to action on Tuesday, December 4th in a non-conference game versus Eastern University beginning at 7:00 p.m. in Johnston Hall.
