Four Lady Greyhounds Ranked in NCAA DIII Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four players of the Moravian College women's basketball team are ranked in the second NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Wednesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright is tied for sixth in the nation with six double-doubles, seventh in rebounds per game at 13.6 and tied for 28th with 19.5 points per contest.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke is tied for 27th in the country with 5.1 assists per game and 60th with 3.38 steals per game. O'Rourke is averaging 13.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game this winter.

Junior forward/center Laura Jordan is tied for 61st in Division III with 1.88 blocked shots per game. This season Jordan is putting up 7.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Danielle Brogan is tied for 94th in the nation with 2.25 three-pointers per game. Brogan is putting up 12.4 points per game to go with her 30 rebounds and 14 steals.

As a team, the Greyhounds are ranked tied for first in winning percentage (1.000), ninth in blocked shots per game (5.9), 29th in points per game (73.1) and tied for 48th in steals per game (13).

Moravian returns to the court on Sunday, December 16th as they travel to rival Muhlenberg College for the Matte Award Game. The contest is scheduled for 2 p.m.
