Greyhounds Receive Votes in USA Today Sports/WBCA Top 25

LILBURN, Ga. ---The Moravian College women's basketball team is receiving votes for the second straight week seventh USA Today Sports/Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll of the 2012-13 season.

The Greyhounds, who are off to the best start in school history at 14-2 overall and 5-0 in Landmark Conference action, received 16 points, landing just outside the top 25 poll at 26th. Moravian, which has received votes in six straight polls, is one of two teams from the Landmark Conference receiving national recognition with The Catholic University of America being ranked 19th with 60 points.

The USA Today Sports/WBCA poll is voted on by a committee of eight Division III coaches, one from each region of the country. To view the full poll, visit http://www.wbca.org/blog/index.cfm/2013/1/8/20122013-Week-7-DIII-Poll/.

Moravian will return to action on Wednesday, January 16th in a Landmark Conference contest again The United States Merchant Marine Academy. The game is set for 7 p.m.
