Wright, O'Rourke & Jordan Ranked in NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three Moravian College women's basketball players are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Tuesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright is ranked 21st in the nation with 11.2 rebounds per game, tied for 25th with 13 double-doubles, tied for 46th with 2.15 blocked shots per game and ranks just outside the top 100 with 16.1 points per game. Wright has helped the Greyhounds to 20-6 record and 11-3 in the Landmark Conference.

Junior center Laura Jordan is rank 65th in the country with two blocks per game. On the season, Jordan is averaging 9.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke is tied for 53rd in Division III with 4.3 assists per game and 89th in assist turnover ratio at 1.38. This winter, O'Rourke is putting up 10.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game to go with her 113 assists and 62 steals.

As a team, the Greyhounds rank sixth in the nation in blocked shots per game (6.2), 38th in three-point field goal defense (.248), tied for 47th in points per game (70.2) and 49th in field goal percentage defense (.334).

Moravian returns to the court tonight, February 27th as they host Neumann University in the ECAC Division III South Quarterfinals. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
