MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. ---The Moravian College women's basketball team is ranked 22nd in the D3hoops.com Poll released Monday. The Greyhounds jumped back into the Top 25 of the D3hoops.com poll after falling out last week, and just receiving votes.
Moravian, who is off to the best start in school history at 14-1 and 5-0 in Landmark Conference action is ranked 22nd and received 99 points. Moravian is one of two teams from the Landmark Conference receiving national recognition with The Catholic University of America being ranked 18th with 167 points after being ranked 17th last week.
The Greyhounds have won three straight games after suffering their first loss to FDU-Florham back on January 3rd. Moravian defeated Goucher College and Drew University before taking down, then nationally-ranked No. 17, The Catholic University of America, 62-59, Saturday afternoon.
Moravian will return to action on Wednesday, January 16th as they take on Landmark Conference foe The United States Merchant Marine Academy. The contest is set for 7 p.m. in King's Point, New York.
