Four Lady Greyhounds Ranked in First NCAA Stats

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four players of the Moravian College women's basketball team are ranked in the first NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Wednesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright is ranked seventh in the nation with 14.0 rebounds per game, tied for 13th with four double-doubles and tied for 15th with 21.5 points per game. Wright also has 13 steals and nine blocks this winter.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke is tied for 11th in the country with 5.8 assists per game this season and tied for 20th with 4.0 steals per game. O'Rourke is also averaging 13.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per contest this season.

Junior forward/center Laura Jordan is tied for 41st in Division III with two blocked shots per game. This season Jordan is averaging 7.6 points and 6.3 boards per game.

Junior guard Danielle Brogan is tied for 63rd in the nation with 2.5 three-pointers per game. Brogan is putting up 13.4 points per game to go with her 28 rebounds and 14 steals.

As a team, the Greyhounds are ranked tied for first in winning percentage (1.000), tied for 20th in points per game (75.0), tied for 26th in blocked shots per game (5.2), 30th in total points scored (450) and tied for 33rd in steals per game (14.0).

Moravian returns to the court on Saturday, December 8th as they host Landmark Conference foe The United States Merchant Marine Academy. It's Parent's Day and the Toy Drive for the Greyhounds as the contest is set for 2 p.m. inside Johnston Hall.
