Three Lady Greyhounds Ranked in Latest NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three Moravian College women's basketball players are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Tuesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright is ranked 20th in the nation with 11.2 rebounds per game, tied for 30th with 12 double-doubles, tied for 59th with two blocked shots per game and ranks just outside the top 100 with 16.0 points per game. Wright has helped the Greyhounds to 20-5 record and 11-3 in the Landmark Conference.

Junior center Laura Jordan is tied for 59th in the country with two blocks per game. On the season, Jordan is averaging 9.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke is ranked 48th in Division III with 4.4 assists per game and 93rd in assist turnover ratio at 1.39. This winter, O'Rourke is putting up 10.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game to go with her 111 assists and 59 steals.

As a team, the Greyhounds rank seventh in the nation in blocked shots per game (6.1), 27th in three-point field goal defense (.243), 44th in field goal percentage defense (.331) and 48th in points per game (70.2).

Moravian returns to the court tonight, February 20th as they host The University of Scranton in the Landmark Conference Semifinals. The contest is set for 7 p.m. inside Johnston Hall.
