Wright, Jordan & O'Rourke Ranked in Final 2013 NCAA DIII Women's Basketball Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three Moravian College women's basketball players are ranked in the final NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Wednesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright finished the season 21st in the nation with 11.2 rebounds per game, tied for 18th with 15 double-doubles, 39th with 2.28 blocked shots per game and 89th at 16.5 points per game.

Junior center Laura Jordan was ranked 65th in the country with two blocks per game. On the season, Jordan averaged 8.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke was 47th in Division III with 4.4 assists per game and 78th in assist turnover ratio at 1.45. This winter, O'Rourke put up 11.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game to go with her 129 assists and 69 steals against just 89 turnovers in a team high 903 minutes played.

As a team, the Greyhounds ranked fourth in the nation in blocked shots per game (6.6), 45th in points per game (69.9) and 47th in field goal percentage defense (.334).

Moravian completed its 2012-13 season with an overall record of 22-7 after finishing as the runner-up in the ECAC Division III South Tournament for the second straight year. The Greyhounds were 11-3 in the Landmark Conference regular season and reached the Landmark Conference Semifinals, the program's 13th consecutive postseason appearance.
