Jesse Krasley & Samantha Savite Named AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans

LEXINGTON, KY – Juniors, libero Jesse Krasley (Allentown, PA/Parkland) and outside hitter Samantha Savite (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) of the Moravian College women's volleyball team have been named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced Tuesday.

Savite has already earned Landmark All-Conference First Team and AVCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors while Krasley earned Landmark All-Conference Second Team and AVCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region accolades as well.

Krasley has had a career season, now owning every dig record at Moravian. She finished this fall with a team-high 803 digs and 47 service aces. She was also second in assists with 118. Krasley has a record 1,748 career digs.

Savite led the Greyhounds with 347 kills. She was slo second on the team in blocks with 62 to go with her 58 digs. Savite is currently eighth all-time in blocks with 181.

Moravian finished out its 2011 season with a 23-13 record while making it to the semifinals in the Landmark Conference Tournament and the ECAC South Tournament.
