The Moravian College women's volleyball team finished fourth at the York College of Pennsylvania Spartan Invitational after dropping a 25-16, 25-19, 24-26, 25-20 decision to Swarthmore College in the third place match.

Junior right side hitter Samantha Savite paced the Greyhoudns with 16 kills and three blocks while senior middle blocker Katie Moquete, pictured, had eight kills, nine digs and two blocks. Sophomore middle blocker Brittany O'Hara contributed five kills and four blocks for the Greyhounds while junior outside hitter JeanAnne Carey had five kills and nine digs. Junior libero Jesse Krasley had 24 digs, four service aces and three assists while sophomore setter Kelly Brown contributed 36 assists, 11 digs and a pair of kills. Freshman outside hitter Taylor Jennings had four kills and thre digs for Moravian while freshman outside hitter Kellianne Comitalo had two kills. Senior defensive specialist Ashley Schmidt had ten digs.

Junior middle blocker Kat Montemurro had 14 kills and three blocks to lead Swarthmore while senior outside hitter Genny Pezzola added 11 kills and eight digs. Junior setter Allie Coleman had 41 assists, ten digs and four kills for the Garnet while sophomore outside hitter Maggie Duszyk added nine kills and two blocks. Senior libero Hillary Santana contributed 25 digs while senior defensive specialist Lisa Shang had nine digs. Sophomore outside hitter Danielle Sulivan had six kills and 13 digs for Swarthmore while sophomore middle blocker Brone Lobichusky added five kills and two blocks.

The Greyhounds will return to action in a non-conference match at Cabrini College on Tuesday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m., and Moravian returns to Johnston Hall for a non-conference contest with Penn State-Berks on Thursday, September 29 also at 7:00 p.m.
