Moravian Remains Undefeated After 3-1 Win Over Albright

The Moravian College women's volleyball team remained undefeated with a 25-8, 26-28, 25-12, 25-11 win over Albright College in the opening round in the Buttermaker Tournament at Muhlenberg College. The Greyhounds improved to 6-0 for just the second time in school history.

Senior middle blocker Katie Moquete led Moravian with 11 kills, two service aces and two blocks while junior right side hitter Samantha Savite had ten kills. Junior outside hitter JeanAnne Carey contributed seven kills and a pair of digs while sophomore middle blocker Brittany O'Hara, pictured at right with Savite, had six kills. Sophomore setter Kelly Brown controlled the Greyhound offense with 37 assists to go with seven digs while junior libero Jesse Krasley had 13 digs and three assists.

Junior middle blocker Jenny Wizeman added five kills while freshman outside hitter Kellianne Comitalo had four kills, three service aces and a pair of digs. Freshman outside hitter Taylor Jennings had three kills and three digs while senior defensive specialist Ashley Schmidt contributed six service aces and five digs.
