The Moravian College women's volleyball team dropped its second match at the Old Friends Crossover hosted by Messiah College, falling to the host Falcons, 25-18, 25-22, 26-24.
Junior outside hitter JeanAnne Carey, pictured, led the Greyhounds with a 11 kills, nine digs and two service aces while junior middle hitter Samantha Savite had six kills. Freshman outside hitter Taylor Jennins contributed five kills and seven digs while sophomore setter Kelly Brown had 26 assists and seven digs for Moravian. Junior libero Jesse Krasley had a team high 22 digs while senior defensive specialist Ashley Schmidt added nine digs.
Junior outside hitter Lauren Rees led Messiah with nine kills and nine digs while junior middle hitter Lindsay King had six kills, four blocks, three digs and two assists. Sophomore setter Jessica Geib added 25 assists, eight digs, three assists and three service aces while junior outside hitter Barbara Fretz had 18 digs and five kills for the Falcons. Senior defensive specialist Megan Wise contributed 14 digs.
