Jesse Krasley & Samantha Savite Named to AVCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Team

LEXINGTON, KY – Junior libero Jesse Krasley (Allentown, PA/Parkland) and classmate outside hitter Samantha Savite (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) have been named to the 2011 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team.

Krasley has had a record-breaking season, breaking three records in digs thus far. Most recently she became the school's career dig leader at 1,719. Earlier this fall she set the single season record, currently at 774, and she broke the single game record for digs in a five-set match at 54. She also holds the three-set and four-set match records as well. Krasley leads the team in service aces with 46 and is second in assists with 116.

Savite is leading the Greyhounds in kills with 343 this fall. She is second on the team in blocks with 61 and has 50 digs. Savite is currently eighth all-time in blocks with 180.

Krasley and Savite have led Moravian to its second straight ECAC South Tournament and a 23-12 overall record.

The fourth seeded Greyhounds take on eighth seed St. Vincent College in the semifinals of the ECAC South Championship Tournament Saturday, November 12th at Bethany College. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. If Moravian wins it will play in the championship game at 5 p.m.
