The Moravian College women's volleyball team lost to nationally-ranked No.5 Eastern University in three games (14-25, 9-25, 15-25) Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Kelly Brown led the Greyhounds with 13 assists, she also added six digs and three kills.
Junior Jesse Krasley, pictured, had 15 digs and three assists. Senior Ashley Schmidt was second on the team in digs with 11. Freshman Taylor Jennings led Moravian with five kills, she also had three digs.
Senior Katie Moquete and junior Samantha Savite combined for eight kills total and three digs.
The Greyhounds return to action Tuesday, September 20 when they take on rival Muhlenberg College in the Matte Award Contest. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Muhlenberg.
