Junior Jesse Krasley Named Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

MADISON, N.J. – Junior libero Jesse Krasley (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) of the Moravian College volleyball team was named the Landmark Conference Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of October 31st.

The Greyhounds only played one game last week, a 3-2 victory over Widener University to close out the 2011 regular season. In the win, Krasley set a new Moravian and Landmark Conference record for digs in a 5-set match with 54.

Earlier this season, Krasley broke the single-season dig record previously set by her last season, and now has 708 this year. She only needs 13 more digs to own the career dig record at 1,665 set by Amy Sandt (1996-1999). Once she gets that record, Krasley will hold every dig record at Moravian College.

Krasley also leads the team with 42 service aces and is second with 103 assists.

The Greyhounds head to The University of Scranton Wednesday, November 2nd for a Landmark Conference Quarterfinal matchup versus the Royals. The game is scheduled for 7 p.m.
