Three Women's Volleyball Players Earn Landmark All-Conference Honors

MADISON, N.J. – Three Moravian College women's volleyball players were named to the 2011 Landmark Conference All-Conference Team.

Junior right side hitter Samantha Savite (Long Valley, NJ/West Morris Central) was named to the All-Conference First Team for the second straight year. Savite leads the Greyhounds with 335 kills, which ranks her fifth in the Landmark Conference. She is averaging 3.02 kills per set, and is ranked seventh in the Conference with a .254 hitting percentage. Savite is second on the team in blocks with 60 to go with her 48 digs.

Junior libero Jesse Krasley (Allentown, PA/Parkland) and sophomore setter Kelly Brown (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) were named to the All-Conference Second Team, with Krasley earning the honor for a second consecutive season.

Krasley, who holds every dig record at Moravian, has 754 digs this season (third in the Conference). She also leads the team with 45 service aces and is second with 112 assists.

Brown is ranked third in the Conference with 1,077 assists this season. She is second on the team with 406 digs to go with her 38 service aces and 79 kills.

The Greyhounds will resume play on Wednesday, November 9th when they play in the ECAC Tournament. Their seed for the tournament has yet to be released.
