TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University graduate student forward Tessa Zamolyi has been honored as the Landmark Conference Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Zamolyi helped the Hounds to a 2-0 week in Landmark Conference action by averaging 16.0 points and 15.0 rebounds per game. She was 10-for-18 from the field and 12-for-14 at the foul line to go with five assists, two steals and one blocked shot in 46 minutes of action. Zamolyi had 18 points and 15 rebounds to go with four assists, a steal and a blocked shot in 24 minutes of action in the Greyhounds 77-50 win over Goucher College. "Tessa had another solid week and is well deserving of this accolade," noted Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. "She fought through a minor injury to come off the bench and help secure a win at Susquehanna on Saturday. Tessa has been consistent on both ends of the floor the entire season. Congratulations to her on this honor."
