TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior Crystal Robinson has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Robinson ran the third leg on both of the Hounds' first-place relay teams at the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus College last Saturday, and she was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:01.17 to help earn a total of 28 points towards Moravian's fourth place team finish. The 4x200-meter relay team took first in a time of 1:48.24 seconds while the 4x400-meter relay squad posted an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying and winning time of 4:06.88.

"Crystal had a busy weekend starting with a strong 400, which was one of her best flat track times ever, especially this early during the indoor season," noted Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann. "She then played a huge role for us in the relays, splitting 25 seconds in the 4x200 and closing the margin to Swarthmore in the 4x400, which helped Abby stay in contention to ultimately overtake them for the meet victory in that relay as well. Ultimately, we're still working on her being a little more aggressive within the first lap of her 400s, so that's among the ways we know she can drop even more time. It was still an exceptional weekend for her when we haven't even been back on campus for three weeks of training yet."

The Greyhounds are set to compete in two meets this weekend with a small group heading to the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday and Saturday, February 10-11 and the rest of the squad competing in the Alvernia University PLEX Shootout on Saturday, February 11.
