Women’s 4x100-Meter Relay Qualifies for 2023 NCAA Division DIII Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Moravian University women's track & field team has had its 4x100-meter relay squad of senior Rachel Byrne, Helen Davis and Crystal Robinson and sophomore Abby Giamoni selected as part of the field for the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's & Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships that will be hosted by St. John Fisher University in Pittsfield, New York on May 25-27.

The quartet will be competing in the NCAA Championships for the first time as a group while Robinson is making her second appearance after running in the 200-meter dash back in 2021. The group qualified 15th for the 16-team field with the preliminaries set for Thursday, May 25 at 5:15 p.m. The two preliminary heat winners and the next six fastest times will advance to the national championship race on Saturday, May 27 at 1:15 p.m.

The Greyhounds posted their qualifying time of 46.95 seconds, tying the Moravian and Landmark Conference records, at the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Susquehanna University on Wednesday, May 17, the next to last day for qualifying.
