Moravian Records Seven AARTFC Qualifying Marks at Lehigh Games

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's track & field team recorded seven All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks while competing in the Lehigh University Games at the Goodman Campus on Friday and Saturday.

Top 10 Finishers

  • The Greyhounds 4x100-meter relay squad of seniors Rachel Byrne, Helen Davis and Crystal Robinson and sophomore Abby Giamoni finished fourth in an AARTFC qualifying time of 49.27 seconds
  • Moravian's 4x400-meter relay quartet of Byrne, Robinson, sophomore Racquel Ramey and sophomore Rylie Murphy finished the day with a third place in a time of 4:08.39
  • Davis took third in the 100-meter dash in an AARTFC qualifying time of 12.44 seconds
  • Davis also placed fourth in the 200-meter dash with an AARTFC qualifying time of 25.85 seconds
  • Robinson also finished sixth in the 400-meter dash in an AARTFC qualifying time of 58.30 seconds
  • Sophomore Amber Poniktera took third in the 5,000-meter run in a time of 18:47.45 while freshman Tori Champagne was fifth in 19:04.42, sophomore Rachael Goodman placed sixth in 19:08.95, freshman Meghan Myers finished eighth at 19:42.26, sophomore Ally Meeks took ninth in a time of 19:47.26 and sophomore Lily Mingora was tenth in 20:08.75
  • Freshman Grace Tirabassi placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in a time of 12:35.49 in the first track event of the day
  • Senior Elizabeth DeMassa finished ninth in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:15.64 while sophomore Bella DeMassa placed tenth in 1:15.79
  • Elizabeth DeMassa was also tenth in the 100-meter hurdles in 17.37 seconds
  • Freshman Ali Haefele placed fourth in the triple jump at a distance of 10.75 meters (35-3.25) while senior Haylee Saylor took eighth at 9.49 meters (31-1.75)
  • Junior Lexi Groff finished seventh in the high jump at an AARTFC qualifying height of 1.58 meters (5-2.25)
  • Senior Delaney Wiseman finished seventh in the javelin on Friday with an AARTFC qualifying distance of 34.41 meters (112-10) while sophomore Abby McClaskey took ninth at 32.38 meters (106-2)
  • Freshman Margie Rayne took seventh in the shot put with a distance of 10.12 meters (33-2.5) while freshman Karalyn Vashey was eighth at 9.89 meters (32-5.5)
  • Senior Maddie Wickel was eighth in the discus with an AARTFC qualifying toss of 36.29 meters (119-0) while sophomore Caillie Fish finished tenth at 34.06 meters (111-9)
  • Fish placed eighth in the hammer throw on Friday with a toss for 42.00 meters (137-9) while Rayne took ninth at 41.19 meters (135-1) and sophomore Liz Miskovsky was tenth at 39.38 meters (129-2)
