Five Softball Players Ranked in Latest NCAA Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Five Moravian College softball players are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III softball statistics released Tuesday.

Freshman outfielder Dior George is tied for 58th in the country with 0.58 stolen bases per game. She has eight stolen bases to go with her .354 batting average, ten runs scored, seven RBIs and two doubles.

Freshman pitcher/outfielder Lizzie Mack is sixth in the nation with 0.56 sacrifice hits this spring. Sophomore catcher Cassie Ernst ranks 14th in getting hit by a pitch, averaging 0.45 per game.

Sophomore pitcher Elizabeth Tillou is tied for 32nd with two shutouts while senior pitcher Jenna Carmon is tied for 80th with one shutout. Tillou is 3-1 with a 1.64 ERA while Carmon is 4-3 with a 1.86 ERA.

The Greyhounds return to action Saturday, March 24th as they have their home opener versus Landmark Conference foe Drew University. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m.
